Penn State is considered the favorite to land Smith, who has taken five unofficial visits to Happy Valley throughout his recruitment. Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Texas A&M are also in the mix.
The 6-foot-4, 223-pounder is ranked as the No. 2 inside linebacker and No. 29 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247sports Composite.
