Top 3 Commitments:
5-Star RB Miles Sanders
Sanders is easily the gem of Penn State's class. Franklin and PSU wanted to keep the stud RB in-state, and they did just that. While he isn't a five-star for every recruiting site, he is viewed as the top RB. He's the No. 20 overall player in class of 2016 according to 247Sports' composite rankings.
4-Star OG Michal Menet
Give PSU's offensive line issues, landing the nation's top guard was huge for the Nittany Lions. He's the No. 28 player and the second-best from the state of Pennsylvania. He could see the field early for Penn State. For more on Menet and the Nittany Lions' recruiting class, check out the Chat Sports Android and iPhone app.
4-Star DE Shane Simmons
Unlike the first two players, Penn State went to Maryland to land Simmons. He's the top player from the state and the No. 41 overall player. He ranks as the fourth-best DE in the nation, although he could play some outside linebacker as well.
