The Penn State Nittany Lions received a commitment from three-star defensive tackle Michael Dwumfour (Wayne, NJ).
The 6'2", 286-pounder picked up the offer from PSU after an impressive camp performance Sunday. 247sports insider Sean Fitz with more on Dwumfour:
Dwumfour accomplished his goal of coming out, competing and earning an offer from the Nittany Lions. It was evident from early in the day that Penn State was going to keep a close eye on him. James Franklin watched closely as Sean Spencer put him through drills. He did everything well. Checked in at around 6-2, 288. He ran a 5.1 40-yard dash and really impressed with a 4.4 shuttle. He showed good flexibility and explosion in drills. He’s a guy that can play either the one- or three-technique. He told me last night that he’ll probably decide between Penn State and Pittsburgh in the next few days. The offer from the Nittany Lions was the one he was waiting on, though.
