The Thunder announced Monday morning that it has assigned second-year players Mitch McGary and Josh Huestis to the D-League Oklahoma City Blue.
The 6-foot-7 Huestis has been an up-and-down assignment/call-up between the Thunder and Blue this season, appearing in four games for the Blue and none yet for the Thunder in the regular season. McGary, however, is getting his first assignment with the Blue this season after making four appearances last year as a rookie.
McGary suffered a concussion in the preseason against Memphis on Oct. 16 that set him back in terms of practice time and integration into Billy Donovan's new offensive and defensive schemes.
