Oklahoma City acquired Oladipo in a trade with the Orlando Magic during the NBA Draft.
Monday is the deadline for teams around the league to sign eligible players to contract extensions. Oladipo is in the last year of his rookie deal, and this deal keeps him from being a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
Through three games this season, Oladipo is averaging 17.0 points and 3.7 rebounds in 36.0 minutes per game.
