Those waiting for the full details on the deal that will likely send Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija to the Chicago White Sox will have to wait until at least Tuesday.
According to John Hickey of the Oakland Tribune, all trade talks were halted on Monday night to resume later:
#Athletics deal to trade RHP Jeff Samardzija to #WhiteSox is on hold for the moment. It likely happens Tuesday.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman and FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal first reported the deal, which could very well send shortstop Marcus Semien and a couple of prospects back to the Athletics.
The White Sox were reportedly unwilling to package either top shortstop prospect Tim Anderson or marquee pitching prospect Francellis Montas in a deal for Samardzija, seeing that the former Chicago Cubs ace only has one year of team control left on his current contract.
