The "Shamrock Series" for Notre Dame football is an alternate uniform the team has worn for one game in each of the last seven years. Today, the Fighting Irish revealed the 2016 edition. And once again, it's a drastic departure from the usual jerseys the Irish wear. Below, we have the video reveal as well as a few photos of the 2016 Shamrock Series uniforms.

The helmets are hand-painted. Notre Dame has yet to lose in the Shamrock Series jerseys. This year, ND will wear them on Nov. 12th against Army when they Alamodome.
