There's less than one month until National Signing Day on February 3rd, which means coaches around college football are gearing up for the final push in recruiting. Brian Kelly has consistently brought in talented recruiting classes since taking over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and that should be the case once again this year. Here's our Notre Dame Football Recruiting News And Rumors Roundup With Less Than One Month Until Signing Day:
Where The Class Stands
While there's still nearly a month until Signing Day, the Irish should be happy with where their recruiting class is at. Notre Dame checks in at No. 8 overall according to Rivals.com, with 21 players committed. The nearly-full class has one 5-star and nine 4-stars. The star of the class is five-star LB Daelin Hayes. The Irish plucked him right out of Ann Arbor.
3-star LB To Visit
Notre Dame will be getting a visit from 3-star LB Jonah Morris later this month. The former Michigan State commit is set to visit on Jan. 22nd. He spoke with Cleveland.com about Notre Dame.
"Notre Dame, I've heard a lot of great things about them, so I am going to go look and see for myself," Morris said. "I haven't been there yet."
ND is competing with Ohio State and Pittsburgh for Morris.
Notre Dame Big Board
SB Nation put together Notre Dame's recruiting big board, and there's plenty to take away from it. Most of the players on the list as listed as "mild' to "cold," which means the Fighting Irish might not land them. However, the Irish are in a good position to land 4-star WR Javon McKinnley. The talented WR is expected to sign with Notre Dame.
