Greg Bryant, a UAB running back who transferred from Notre Dame, has died at age 21. Bryant's family confirmed his untimely passing on Sunday morning.

Bryant was found shot inside of a car along Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach, Florida early Saturday morning. So far, no suspects have been identified in the shooting.
Bryant was the most prominent player recruiting to UAB, who is restarting its football program in 2017. He played two season for the Fighting Irish, totalling 303 yards and three touchdowns, before being ruled acadmically ineligible for the 2015 season. The Delray Beach, Florida native was a 3-star recruit coming out of high scool, committing to Notre Dame after capturing a state title.
Several players expressed their sympathies via Twitter after learning of Bryant's death, including Heisman Trophy winner and current Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry.
