Notre Dame defensive lineman Sheldon Day has been struggling with ankle issues for seemingly the entire year, but according to the latest reports out of South Bend, Day will be healthy enough to play against USC on Saturday. Notre Dame had the benefit of a bye week to rest up after their win over 37-34 win over Arizona State, and Day's sprained ankle has healed up well enough for the player to be considered a sure bet to start against the Trojans.
Day has seven tackles in four games so far this season.
