The MLB trade deadline on August 1st is rapidly approaching, and the trade rumors around the New York Yankees are starting to heat up. The Yankees are 52-49 and a strong start after the All-Star break has put them just four games back of the Wild Card. The Yankees have already dealt Aroldis Chapman for a solid return of prospects and might not be done making deals quite yet. With that in mind, here all the latest Yankees trade rumors you need to know.
Andrew Miller To Nationals?
Jon Heyman reports it's still highly unlikely that Miller is dealt, but that the Cardinals, Nationals, Indians, Rangers and SF Giants have interest. The Yankees asking price for Miller is sky-high, as they simply don't need to trade him this year. Plus, his value has only gone up with the Aroldis Chapman trade. However, the Nationals might have the best chance of landing Miller.
Sources who have spoken with #Nats believe they would trade Lucas Giolito to #Yankees for Andrew Miller, straight up.

Giolito is the Nationals' top prospect and one of the top ones in the MLB. Giolito for Miller is a steep price to pay and that's why it might not happen.
UPDATE: Well, maybe the Miller for Giolito trade won't happen. Jon Heyman reports the Yankees wouldn't do that deal (even though they should) and Jim Bowden says the Nats aren't dealing Giolito at all.
Beltran Not Generating Interest?
This is a bit of a surprise, but Jon Heyman reports veteran Carlos Beltran isn't generating a ton of interest on the trade market.
Carlos Beltran has carried the club offensively, yet there seems to be little early trade buzz. It’s doubtful the rumored Indians have the money for this luxury.
Beltran is 39 years old and might be better off playing DH, but he is hitting .305 with 21 homers. He was also an All-Star this season and has played some right field this season. The Rangers make sense as an option with Prince Fielder done for the season, as do the Indians, despite their money problems. Perhaps once players like Jay Bruce are dealt, the interest in Beltran will pick up.
Will Yankees Chase Chris Sale?
The Yankees had been mentioned as a possible dark horse for Chris Sale yesterday by Jon Heyman, but that is looking like an increasingly unlikely long-shot. The Rangers are the team pushing the hardest for Sale, while the Yankees were not among the teams that sent scouts to watch Sale at his start Thursday night. The Yankees do have the pieces to make a competitive offer, but don't expect New York to swing a deal for Sale.
