NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Knicks have reportedly discussed a possible trade with the Atlanta Hawks for point guard Jeff Teague.
ESPN reported Wednesday the Knicks were one of the teams that have talked to Atlanta about the All-Star guard. It isn’t clear just how serious New York’s interest is or if any other point guards might be on its radar.
The Knicks could use an upgrade to 34-year-old starting point guard Jose Calderon, who is averaging 7.5 points and 4 assists per game. This season, Teague, 27, is averaging 14.
