New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson underwent surgery on his left ankle on Monday, May 13, according to league sources and reported by ESPN, SNY, and the New York Post among other outlets.
It’s Robinson’s second operation on the same ankle this season following the initial one he underwent last December.
Per league source, Mitchell Robinson had small procedure today on his left ankle. Decision for procedure was made after additional consideration by his surgeon & Knicks medical staff. The plan for Robinson is still to be re-evaluated in 6-8 weeks, per league source.
