Carmelo Anthony has told the New York Knicks that he does not plan to waive his no-trade clause because he wants to say in New York.
However, because the Knicks and president Phil Jackson are trying to get rid of him so badly, Anthony's representations have talked to the front office about a possible buyout, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Anthony would join the Cleveland Cavaliers if his contract is bought out, and the Knicks are reluctant because they'd prefer to trade Carmelo to the Cavs and get something in return for him.
Anthony is owed $54 million over the next two seasons. He averaged 22.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this past season.
