The New York Knicks have some interest in re-signing PG Derrick Rose, but the team could also attempt a sign-and-trade with him. The Milwaukee Bucks have a meeting with Rose Monday and that's led the Knicks to consider dealing Rose.

Sign-and-trades are rare, since teams usually have the outright cap space to pull off a signing. But the Bucks only have the $8.4 million exception to use, so they could attempt to do a sign-and-trade. It's clear what the Knicks would want in a sign-and-trade, but a draft pick(s) is a good guess.
They've tried to trade Greg Monroe for over a year now, with no luck. To get the Knicks to take on Monroe's contract, they'd likely have to include a draft pick of some kind. And no, the Bucks aren't taking on Joakim Noah's contract.
