In a column posted this morning, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer shared some intel about the Aaron Rodgers saga that New York Jets fans will likely find promising.
Breer says he believes the trade will “certainly” be completed prior to the NFL draft on April 27.
“I think it could happen as early as this week, and certainly will get done before the draft. So have patience, Jets fans—your quarterback is coming.”
As for his reasoning, Breer says he believes the relationship between the Packers and Jets is not as poor as people seem to think.
