Spending their fourth consecutive draft pick on defense, the New York Jets added yet another versatile defender on Day 3 as they used the 186th overall selection on Florida State defensive back Hamsah Nasirildeen.
Entering the NFL after his true senior seen, the Concord, North Carolina native is listed as a safety, but at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds with plenty of experience all over the field, he has the potential to play a variety of different roles.
An ACL injury suffered in the 2019 season limited Nasirildeen to only two games in 2020 as he returned late in the season.
