FLORHAM PARK, NJ—It’s not looking too good for the New York Jets‘ most valuable player right now.
Along with Sam Darnold, left tackle Mekhi Becton is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Adam Gase quickly proclaimed Darnold as out for the Week 6 contest on Wednesday, but Becton still has a shot.
On Friday, he practiced in a limited capacity and is officially listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report of the week. (And yes, he is by far the team’s most valuable player with a hat tip to Jamison Crowder.
