New York Jets 2021 NFL draft recap: Welcome to the new era (Podcast)

The 2021 NFL draft is now over, and a new class of rookies is ready to start their careers in Green and White.

Quarterback Zach Wilson and guard Alijah Vera-Tucker heard their names called in the first round. Although that sounds significant, the New York Jets offensive revival was only just beginning. Joe Douglas quickly added wide receiver Elijah Moore and running back Michael Carter in the second and fourth rounds.

The final six picks made over the next two rounds were all spent on defensive players: three cornerbacks, two linebackers, and a defensive tackle.
