An extremely bad day for the New York Jets just got much worse with news that cornerback Dee Milliner might be out for the remainder of the 2014 season.
Here's ESPN's John Clayton with the report:
It does sound like Dee Milliner tore his Achilles
— John Clayton (@ClaytonESPN) October 12, 2014
After Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus opened the scoring on Sunday with a field goal, Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk reports that "Milliner immediately grabbed the bottom of his right leg, around the Achilles, and couldn’t put weight on the leg as he made his way to the sideline with the assistance of the medical staff."
Now with an Achilles injury in play, it looks as if Milliner's injury-plague 2014 (he's battled ankle and quad issues all season long) has come to an end.
Stay tuned.
