The victory finished off an opponent whose coach whined openly about power plays and narratives after not just one, but two games, and the victory came in a convincing fashion where the vice was tightened throughout the second and third periods.
That made for a great party at Nassau Coliseum, possibly the last one the ol’ Fort Neverlose will ever see. (We hope there’s more, but you know: Playoffs. And the Lightning will have plenty to say.
