Marshall Newhouse was more scared than injured.
That's what happens when you play on a team spooked by injuries and get the back of your foot stepped on in practice. On Wednesday, Newhouse, the Giants' starting right tackle, had that occur to him and it caused him to writhe on the ground, receive attention from the medical staff, and miss the rest of the workout.
By Thursday, though, he was fine and he is expected to play Saturday against the Jets.
"It was pretty scary," he said. "I got stepped on while I was engaged in a block and went down.
