Amazon Prime will start exclusively carrying NFL Thursday games a year early

After the NFL and Amazon made a deal for their streaming service Prime to start exclusively carrying Thursday night football games for the 2023 season. But now things have changed.

The NFL announced on Monday that Amazon Prime will start showing Thursday night games in 2022 exclusively on their platform.

Of course Amazing Prime has been showing Thursday games for some time now, but not on an exclusive basis. They stream the games while they’re also shown on the NFL Network as well as FOX.

Now, if your local team is on Thursday night starting 2022 and you don’t have Prime, you will still be able to watch the game on local television.
