The New York Giants have a reputation for their unwillingness to make trades in the NFL draft, however, Giants rumors suggest that this year could change that. Dave Gettleman and Co. currently hold the #4 overall pick and could look to trade down with a team like the Chargers or Jags who are in search of a quarterback. IN THE VIDEO ABOVE AND BELOW, Nick Dais, host of NFL Daily, breaks down 5 draft scenarios for New York Giants in the 2020 NFL draft including trades and keeping pick #4 to take Isaiah Simmons, Tristan Wirfs or Jedrick Wills Jr.
Giants draft needs include offensive line, edge, cornerback and linebacker. If the Giants choose to stay put at pick #4 they could select an OT like Tristan Wirfs or Jedrick Wills Jr. Or they could take the swiss army knife athlete Isaiah Simmons. Which player would you prefer 4th overall?

NFL draft rumors have linked the Giants to various trades. After the Los Angeles Chargers parted ways with Philip Rivers, they’re in the market for a quarterback of the future. If they want to ensure they get their guy, we could see a draft trade with the New York Giants. Nick puts together a proposed trade in which the Chargers take pick #4 and the Giants get #6 overall and still address their needs at OL. We’ve also cooked up a draft day trade with the Jags that would send Yannick Ngakoue to the Giants.
Other Giants rumors include discussion about Saquon Barkley and the contract he could expect after Chirstian McCaffrey got the bag last week. The Panthers 23 year old RB became the highest paid RB in NFL History thanks to his new 4-year deal averaging $16 million a year. What does CMC’s record-breaking deal mean for Saquon? While Barkley still has 2 years left on his deal, Nick makes a case for Saquon to get upwards of $18 million a year.
