NFL Free Agency officially starts today, and the next few days will feature several New York Giants rumors. While free agency doesn't officially start until 4 p.m. today, teams have used the "legal tampering" days to their advantage. Teams can discuss contracts with any player, although a deal can't be signed until the new league year starts. With that in mind, here are a few of the more interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Giants.
Giants Land Janoris Jenkins
The Giants badly needed CB help, and they landed one of the top free agents in Janoris Jenkins.
When Giants finalize deal for former Rams CB Janoris Jenkins, it's expected to be for five-years, $62.5 million, per source.

That's an expensive price for Jenkins, and it includes $29 million in guaranteed money. Only Darrelle Revis has more guaranteed money among NFL corners.
Giants Land Damon Harrison
The Giants are continuing their defensive line overhaul with the signing of Damon Harrison.
I’m told DL Damon Harrison has earned and agreed in principle to a five-year, $46.25M deal with the #Giants. Massive get for the G-Men.

Harrison might not even have to move, as he last played for the New York Jets. It's a large contract for Harrison, one the Jets simply couldn't match.
Giants Targeting Mohamed Sanu?
With Marvin Jones already off the market, the WRs in this year's free agency class is very thin. That's why the Giants are one of many teams interested in Mohamed Sanu.
Many teams in on #Bengals WR Mohamed Sanu, including #Giants, #Patriots, #Falcons, #Cowboys, #Redskins, #Bucs

Sanu was the No. 3 WR in Cincinnati last season, but could become the No. 2 in New York. The Giants are looking for a compliment to Odell Beckham.
Olivier Vernon Update
The signing of DE Mario Williams earlier this week means the Dolphins likely won't re-sign DE Olivier Vernon.
Dolphins pulled transition tag because they will get a compensatory draft pick when Olivier Vernon leaves; wouldn't have if he left tagged.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 9, 2016
Vernon will get a large contract on the open market, as he's coming off a great season and is one of the younger players available. The Giants brought back Jason Pierre-Paul on a one-year deal, but can still sign another high-priced DE. That could be Vernon, who is the best DE on left on the market.
