The New York Giants had a disappointing 2017 finishing last in the NFC East with a 3-13 record. After a few key additions in free agency and a solid 2018 NFL Draft, the Giants are ready to make a run for the playoffs and show the rest of the NFL that they mean business in 2018. Here's a game-by-game prediction of the Giants' 2018 schedule this year:

Week 1: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Prediction: LOSS (0-1)
This will be a close game but I feel like the Jaguars have too much talent on defense and will force Eli to commit a few too many turnovers. Giants lose in a close one though.
Week 2: at Dallas Cowboys
Prediction: LOSS (0-2)
Giants have played the Cowboys tough, but a Dallas team with Ezekiel Elliott isn't an easy matchup. Giants lose a tough game to their NFC East rival.
Week 3: at Houston Texans
Prediction: LOSS (0-3)
The Texans are an up and coming team that should be better on offense and defense in 2018. Too much firepower on offense for the Giants to keep up.
Week 4: vs New Orleans Saints
Prediction: LOSS (0-4)
Heading back home starting 0-3 to only be treated with the Saints. The Saints aren't as good on the road, but New Orleans is the superior team in this matchup.
Week 5: at Carolina Panthers
Prediction: LOSS (0-5)
The Panthers at home are much different than on the road and this will not be an easy matchup for the Giants.
Week 6: vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Prediction: LOSS (0-6)
The gauntlet of difficult matchups continues with the defending Super Bowl champions.
Week 7: at Atlanta Falcons
Prediction: LOSS (0-7)
Yep, I'm projecting the Giants to start 0-7, not because they are a bad team but because their beginning schedule is incredibly difficult. The Falcons may be one of the most complete teams in the NFL and will dominate the Giants at home.
Week 8: vs. Washington Redskins
Prediction: WIN (1-7)
The Giants pick up their first win of the season against the Redskins at home before their Bye week.
Week 9: BYE Week
Week 10: at San Francisco 49ers
Prediction: LOSS (1-8)
Coming off a bye the Giants should be well rested but playing in San Francisco won't be an easy task in 2018. The 49ers will be a playoff caliber team in 2018.
Week 11: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Prediction: WIN (2-8)
The Buccaneers are hit or miss it seems every year they continue to rely on Jameis Winston. If the bad Winston shows up the Giants will win, but if the good Jameis shows up this game could be a loss for the Giants.
Week 12: at Philadelphia Eagles
Prediction: LOSS (2-9)
In Philly means a bad loss for the Giants.
Week 13: vs. Chicago Bears
Prediction: WIN (3-9)
The Bears are a young team and I expect them to be much better in 2018 than 2017. However, I think the Giants match up well against the Bears and win a close game at home.
Week 14: at Washington Redskins
Prediction: WIN (4-9)
The Redskins I believe will be the worst team in the NFC East and by this time in 2018, they will be wondering why on Earth they paid Alex Smith all that money.
Week 15: vs. Tennessee Titans
Prediction: WIN (5-9)
The Titans are the most overrated team in the NFL right now. They had no business making the playoffs in 2017 and they won't make the playoffs in 2018.
Week 16: at Indianapolis Colts
Prediction: WIN (6-9)
Even if Andrew Luck is healthy the Colts are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Without Luck, I think they are easily the worst team in the NFL.
Week 17: vs. Dallas Cowboys
Prediction: LOSS (6-10)
The Cowboys may be fighting for a playoff spot and I'm sure the Giants would love to play spoiler, but the Cowboys offense will win the battle in the trenches, which will lead to a Giants' loss.
