With the 40th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Oklahoma wide receiver Sterling Shepard, a four-year player and three-year starter for the Sooners.
In his final two seasons with OU, Shepard racked up 137 catches for 2,258 yards and 16 touchdowns, making strides in every year. While he's a bit undersized, the son of former NFL wideout Derrick Shepard comes in with an advanced skill set and should be able to contribute to the Giants' passing attack from the jump.
This hype video, courtesy of YouTube user Swanny J, will make you a believer in Shepard being a star WR for New York.
