It appears Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer will stick with last week’s game plan concerning his quarterback duo.
Last week against Maryland, Meyer went with both quarterbacks, starting Cardale Jones and then leaning on J.T. Barrett once the Buckeyes made it into the red zone. It was the most consistent the offense has looked all season. The Buckeyes scored 42 points on seven scoring opportunities, averaging a touchdown every scoring opportunity.
And late Wednesday afternoon, Meyer made it clear he’s sticking with what works.
Meyer said in red zone practice, J.T. Barrett reps with the ones and Cardale Jones reps with the twos.
