AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- LeBron James continued his climb up the NBA's all-time scoring list Tuesday, passing Jerry West for No. 19 with 25,193 career points.
James entered the night needing 10 points to pass "The Logo" and got it over with early, eclipsing West on a corner 3-pointer with 2:55 remaining in the first quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers' road game against the Detroit Pistons.
West played 932 games over 14 seasons to reach his total. James reached the mark in his 922nd game as a 13-year veteran.
