It’s too early in the season for Lakers fans to jump boat.
Five games into the young NBA season, murmurings of the word “bust” already surround the 2015 second overall draft pick D’Angelo Russell. Looking at the numbers, Russell hasn’t helped silence the critics, averaging 8.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. On top of that, the Lakers guard is shooting a poor 34.1 percent from the field and 25 percent from beyond the arc.
