Mizzou's RB Badie is catching on as a receiver

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri football coach Eli Drinkwitz has said for weeks that he needs to get Tyler Badie more involved in the offense. Throughout the season, it had been more of a to-do list item than an immediate, substantial plan.

Mizzou finally made it happen Saturday against Vanderbilt.

Badie caught seven passes for 102 yards and ran for 18 yards in Missouri’s 41-0 rout. The junior running back usually is an aerial threat out of the backfield once or twice a game, complementing Larry Rountree’s ground attack. But Saturday there was more balance for the Rountree-Badie tandem.
