After 10 years, Crystal Cave reopens with spelunking tours, fossil digging and train rides

Descending into Crystal Cave is so surreal that it feels like you're entering a movie set and at any moment Indiana Jones will come swinging through with his whip.

The nearly 130-year-old cave is not currently being used as a film set and the stalactites are much too fragile to support Harrison Ford, but it is now open for guided tours after a decade-long hiatus.

Spelunking — or exploring caves — may be a far off fantasy for many people, but attending a guided tour in an underground chamber can break the surface on an otherwise tough activity.
