This time of year is very stressful for many young players in the NFL. With cut days rapidly approaching, there are many young players, even draft picks, that could find themselves without a job in the NFL going into the regular season. This is the also the case for Minnesota Vikings sixth round draft pick Tyrus Thompson.
For the most part, Thompson has been a but of a disappointment. The team has been trying to find a role for him along the offensive line, most recently trying him at left guard during Saturday’s preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.
