The Brewers were eventually able to get on the board and take advantage of a tough inning defensively by the Pirates. William Contreras hit an RBI single to bring home Sal Frelick. Willy Adames was then hit by a pitch to load the bases, and then Rhys Hoskins also was hit by a pitch to score a run.
