Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh isn't one to hide his wrestling (more accurately, WWE) fandom, even going so far as to put in a case to referee a Wrestlemania main event between legendary wrestlers Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair at The Big House in Ann Arbor.
It appears Harbaugh will have to settle for the next best thing, as Ric Flair will join several other celebrities at Jim Harbaugh's "Signing of the Stars" event on National Signing Day (Wednesday, February 3rd) from 11am to 1pm local time at Hill Auditorium.
Harbaugh and his celebrity cast will make the official announcement for all of Michigan's signees in the 2016 recruiting class, introducing the newest members of the football program in undeniably unique fashion. Tickets to the event are limited, but The Players' Tribune website will also live-stream the event for those unable to attend.
The event will also serve as opportunity to raise awareness and funds for the Chad Tough Foundation, with Michigan encouraging donations to the foundation rather than charging a flat ticket price for attendees.
Mid-year enrollees will also be honored at the event, headlined by aforementioned WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and these other celebrity guests:
Derek Holland (MLB pitcher)
Mike Shanahan (former NFL head coach)
Denard Robinson (football alum/NFL running back)
Jon Jansen (football alum/analyst)
Brad Keslowski (NASCAR driver)
Lou Holtz (football analyst) Twitter logo
Jack Kennedy (football alum/musician)
Desmond Howard (football alum/analyst)
Todd McShay (football analyst)
Jessica Szohr (actress)
Josh Gracin (musician)
As Flair always says...
