It took a last second touchdown and two overtimes for Michigan to knock off Indiana on Saturday and the pollsters weren’t overly impressed with the effort. Despite teams losing in front of them, the Wolverines saw only a modest gain in each ranking.
In the Associated Press Poll, Michigan moved up one spot to No. 14, with both North Carolina and Houston jumping ahead of the Maize and Blue. In the Coaches Poll, the Wolverines climbed two places, moving to No. 13. Only North Carolina moved ahead of Michigan from the week before in that ranking.
