Twelve hooligans are BANNED from football matches after rival fans clash and bottles are thrown in a street brawl near Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium

Twelve football hooligans have been banned from matches for fighting before Manchester United's FA cup tie with Sheffield United last season.

Around 80 Sheffield fans and 40 Manchester fans hurled threatening abuse at each other outside a pub near Old Trafford but police intervened before they came to blows.

Police footage shows one man throw two glass bottles at the officers from behind a parked van.
