Manchester United told to sign Cristiano Ronaldo's former Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala this summer should the club convince the Portuguese into a u-turn on his future

It has been suggested that Manchester United sign Cristiano Ronaldo's former Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala this summer should the Portuguese stay.

It emerged last week that Ronaldo wished to depart the club this summer after feeling that it could not match his ambition of playing out the final years of his career at the top of the game.

Free agent Dybala is still on the search for a new club after departing Juventus on a free transfer at the end of last month. It had been believed that Inter Milan were his likeliest destination, but Romelu Lukaku's return means that interest has cooled.
