The Los Angeles Lakers announced they had officially signed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Thursday. The Detroit Pistons free agent is the first free agent the Lakers have signed this offseason, and will reportedly make $18 million in his one-year contract with the team.

With the addition of Caldwell-Pope, the Lakers official roster stands at 12 players, and 13 if they sign second-round pick Thomas Bryant to an NBA contract.
