The Lakers head coach did not like what he saw from the sophomore forward on defense.
The Los Angeles Lakers had their largest victory of the year on Sunday night, beating the Phoenix Suns 97-77 to push their first win streak of the season to three games. Lakers sophomore power forward Julius Randle had a forgettable night offensively, missing all four of his shots and scoring just 2 points. Randle did however have a monster effort on the boards, grabbing 12 rebounds in just 16 minutes of playing time. Despite that, Lakers head coach Byron Scott was dissatisfied with Randle's effort on the defensive end against the Suns and let him and reporters know about it after the game.
