The Los Angeles Clippers hold a 2-0 series lead over the Portland Trail Blazers following a 102-81 win Wednesday. It was just a six-point game at the start of the fourth quarter, but the Clippers pulled away with 30 fourth quarter points.
Portland struggled from the field, hitting just 34.1 percent of their shots. The normally sharp Trail Blazers were just 5 of 26 from 3-point range. The Clippers hit 46 percent of their shots and were 8 of 21 from beyond the arc.
Five Clippers reached double figures, led by Chris Paul. He had 25 points, six rebounds and five assists. DeAndre Jordan had just three points, but racked up 18 rebounds, five assists and three blocks. J.J. Redick was the second-leading scorer, with 17.
Damian Lillard had 17 points, but was just 6 of 22 from the field. C.J. McCollum added 16 points, but wasn't much better from the field, hitting 6 of 17 shots. Mason Plumlee had 17 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.
Game 3 of the series is Saturday in Portland. Tip off is set for 10:30 p.m. ET.
