The best way to deal with an alleged racist such as Clippers' owner Donald Sterling may be to attack his wallet.
According to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders, there are at least 14 companies which have either dropped or suspended sponsorship of the Los Angeles Clippers in the wake of racially-charged comments attributed to Sterling in an audio recording released by TMZ Sports.
The 14 companies are as follows, per Kennedy: "Red Bull, CarMax, Kia, Virgin America, Corona, AQUAhydrate, Sprint, LoanMart, Amtrak, Lumber Liquidators, Mercedes-Benz, Yokohama Tire Corporation, Commerce Hotel & Casino and State Farm."
Other than getting hit from a monetary perspective, NBA commissioner Adam Silver is expected to dole out a potential punishment to Sterling at 2pm EST via an official press conference.
