The Los Angeles Clippers and reserve point guard Jordan Farmar are nearing an agreement to buyout Farmar's contract, according to Yahoo's Mike Spears.
The Clippers just acquired combo guard Austin Rivers, the son of head coach Doc Rivers, to boost their backcourt rotation, and Farmar would probably fall out of the lineup.
The Sacramento Kings have been rumored to be interested in Farmar, hoping he can replace Ramon Sessions in the bench rotation.
Farmar is averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 assists in 14.7 minutes a game so far this season.
