Donald Sterling apparently doesn't intend to "fight to the bitter end", and told the NBA in a May 22 letter that he plans to sell the Los Angeles Clippers...according to ESPN's Darren Rovell:
Donald Sterling has sent letter to league saying he will indeed sell team, confirms @aaronkatersky.

Just to be clear. The letter is a May 22 letter, not a new letter that came after Sterling's answer to the charge.

It's hard to tell what Sterling (who released a 32-page statement vehemently opposing the NBA's charges against him on Tuesday) actually intends to do. His Tuesday filing makes it seem as though he has no intention of selling, but the May 22 letter (and the massive offers that have allegedly been made over the past 72 hours) indicate otherwise. We'll provide more updates on this developing story. when they become available.
