KENT-The Golden Flashes split Sunday's double header with Saint Joe's, walking off the Hawks in game one and dropping game two.
GAME ONE: KENT STATE 3 ST JOE'S 2
A true pitcher's dual in game one as the teams combined for a total of four hits in the seven-inning game. Kent State scratched across a run in the third, without the benefit of a hit as a pair of walks, a wild pitch and a sac fly did the trick to give Kent State a 1-0 lead. After the Hawks pushed across an unearned run in the fourth, the Flashes' lone hit of the game came in the fourth as a double into the right field corner by Jake Casey moved Dom Kibler to third.
