INDIANAPOLIS -- Struggling quarterback. Struggling team. Facing the NFL’s best defense. And now you can add the absence of the Indianapolis Colts' leading receiver to the list of problems for them in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.
T.Y. Hilton is expected to miss the game with a foot injury, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning. Hilton not playing isn’t overly surprising because he did not practice all week after suffering the injury in the Colts’ loss at Carolina on Nov. 2.
Hilton’s absence comes when Rob Chudzinski is calling his first game as offensive coordinator and with them having to deal with a Denver defense that gives up only 172 yards a game through the air and has sacked opposing quarterbacks 29 times this season.
