Each week, we’ll gauge whether Bill Cubit can hold onto the Illinois job past the 2015 season: Interim leaders Paul Kowalczyk and Barbara Wilson have told the interim coach he’ll get evaluated at the end of the season. Well, that point is here. A two-game losing streak certainly doesn’t enhance his job prospects. A win against Northwestern may not help either, but Cubit is confident he’ll coach at Illinois in 2016.
