INCHEON, South Korea — Australian Adam Scott is changing more than just his putter this week for the Presidents Cup matches against the U.S. Veteran caddie David Clarke will be on Scott’s bag for the foreseeable future in a job-sharing arrangement with Steve Williams.
Clarke, a seasoned caddie who spent his formative years under the tutelage of taskmaster Vijay Singh, had been on Scott’s short list. Clarke tried out twice last fall when Scott sought a replacement for Williams, who told his boss that he wanted to retire.
Scott eventually chose Mike Kerr, and Clarke went with Paul Casey.
