NEW YORK — A busy NBA schedule has prevented Zaza Pachulia from seeing one of his favorite bands, Coldplay, in concert. Thursday night, before the Warriors’ 117-101 win over the Nets at Barclays Center, he got the next best thing: an informal conversation with Coldplay front man Chris Martin.
“To have the chance to meet him in person, it was so great,” Pachulia said.
Pachulia thrived in front of Martin, finishing with season highs in points (15) and rebounds (14) in 26 minutes. It was just the second double-double of the season for a player whose game has long been more about nuance than numbers.
