The Warriors aren’t typically a very superstitious lot, but they sure shied away from the cameras and microphones at Tuesday’s shootaround.
Just hours before they have a chance to set an NBA record with a 16th consecutive win to start a season, seemingly no one on the team wanted to talk about it.
The media was allowed into the Warriors’ practice facility at about 11 a.m., and after nearly 75 minutes, the team’s public relations staff was finally able to wrangle one player to talk to about a dozen local reporters.
The unlucky Warrior was shooting guard Klay Thompson, who clearly wanted no part of it.
